Book a 1:1 Meeting with a coach and do a simple, short benchmarking exercise and then agree with the coach on some short and medium term goals which will establish
- A structured training programme
- Heart rate training zones
- resting metabolic rate
- Body composition analysis
- calculate how much time will be required to prepare
- establish power to weight ratio
- carry out a nutritional programme
- check out current equipment and make recommendations where necessary to achieve more efficiency.
Does It Get Results?
Absolutely, the programme you are given is based on current best practice issued by the ‘World class performance programme’ from British cycling and ABCC the countries leading cycle coaching organisation whose exacting criteria helps many racing cyclists in the UK. In addition, the coach will monitor your workouts, provide regular feedback, help you train with a purpose and provide an outside objective opinion.
Costs
The initial consultation is programmed to get you set up correctly and includes heart rate monitor use plus turbo set up procedures and many of the above analysis techniques mentioned above plus a written personal training programme covering the first three months, a benchmark test plus a final test where progress is reviewed.
If,after this you decide to continue with your coaching a personalised programme will be prepared which includes daily schedules plus monthly tests and a 2hour 1:1 monthly review with your coach plus almost unlimited access with your coach to ensure progress.
